Angelina Jolie has praised partner Brad Pitt's parents for accepting her and her adopted children so soon after the actor's divorce from Jennifer Aniston. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's relationship was made public in April 2005 when they were photographed vacationing with the actress' adopted son Maddox on a beach in Kenya - just three months after the actor split from Aniston after four and half years of marriage.

The Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-stars officially confirmed their relationship in January 2006 when they announced that "they" were expecting their first biological child together. Daughter Shiloh Nouvel was born four months later in Namibia. Last year, Brad Pitt filed papers to be recognized as the legal adoptive father of Jolie's adopted children Maddox and Zahara, and the couple recently added Vietnamese tot Pax to their brood.

Angelina Jolie admits she was worried when Angelina Jolie first met Brad Pitt's parents Jane and William - whose fondness for Aniston is well-documented - but they were very nice to her. Angelina Jolie says, "When I first met them I came in with two adopted children from other countries and I didn't know how they were going to be. But they are equally loving with them."

Angelina Jolie has revealed her mother's death triggered her dramatic weight loss.

The actress lost her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, to ovarian cancer in January and has since become noticeably thinner.

Hot Angelina Jolie confessed at the New York premiere of her new film A Mighty Heart on Wednesday: "I've always been lean and this year I lost my mom and I've gone through a lot.

"I have four kids and I finished breastfeeding - it's been hard to get my nutrition back on track."

The 32-year-old - who has adopted five-year-old Maddox, three-year-old Pax and two-year-old Zahara and has a one-year-old biological daughter Shiloh with Brad Pitt - insists her weight loss is not something she is proud of.

'Saying that I'm thin is no compliment'

Hot Angelina Jolie added: "Instead of people saying I look like a person dealing with something emotionally, they assume it's because I want to fit into skinny jeans.

"Someone saying to me that I'm thin is not a compliment."

The Tomb Raider star - once famous for her curves - sparked concern among fans when she was pictured looking painfully thin with veins protruding in her arms.

Hot Angelina Jolie has admitted that a gag order issued to reporters covering a premiere of her new film about murdered journalist Daniel Pearl was "excessive."

Angelina Jolie's representatives ordered journalists attending a screening of "A Mighty Heart" in New York this week to sign a document agreeing that they would steer clear of questions about her private life.

Several media outlets refused to sign the agreement and others accused Angelina Jolie of hypocrisy in making the request all the while promoting a film about a journalist murdered for pursuing a story.

The New York screening was also held to raise awareness of the Reporters Without Borders press watchdog.

In an interview with satirical news program "The Daily Show" late Thursday, Hot Angelina Jolie admitted the gag order was over the top.

"There was a memo that went out to ask people if they would sign it that said, 'Don't get into personal questions, focus on the movie,' and things like that," Jolie told host Jon Stewart.

"It was from my representative trying to be protective of me, but it was excessive and I wouldn't have put it out there."

Hot Angelina Jolie's lawyer Robert Offer was quoted by the New York Times as saying the contract was created by a "bone-headed, over-zealous lawyer" -- himself -- and that the star had not been aware of it.

"This was my creating something to protect her from the press's talking about personal matters, a document that would limit discussion to the film," he said.

"But it was drafted overly broadly. It was well intended, but I understand how it was received."

Sexxy Angelina Jolie issued a similar agreement to reporters covering a Los Angeles press event for her 2005 film "Mr and Mrs Smith" amid a media frenzy about her relationship with partner and co-star Brad Pitt.

Pearl, who worked for the Wall Street Journal, was murdered in Pakistan by Islamic extremists in 2002 while researching outlawed groups.

London, June 14 : Hot Actress Angelina Jolie reportedly begged her brother James Haven to be at her side during the first Mother's Day since the death of their mother actress Marcheline Bertrand, who succumbed to ovarian cancer, earlier this year.

The 'Girl Interrupted' actress was shooting for her new film in Prague and wanted her elder brother to be with her during the first Mothering Sunday.

Thirty-four year -old James Haven rushed to his sister's side and the two spent Mother's day by seeing pictures of their beloved mum and talking about their childhood.

The siblings are said to have spent the whole night crying.

"They spent the night crying, looking at photos of Marcheline and talking about their childhood," Daily Express quoted a source, as saying.

Haven later spent a few days with Angelina Jolie, her partner actor Brad Pitt and the couple's kids.

He made sure that his sister was 'back at her feet' before he got back to the US.

"He then spent a few days in Prague with his sister, her partner Brad Pitt and their children to make sure Angelina was back on her feet before he returned to the US," the source added.

French actress Bertrand died at the age of 56 after a seven-year-long battle with the disease.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were at her side when she breathed her last.

The 'A Mighty Heart' actress has revealed the couple plan to swap Hollywood for a life of travelling, parenthood and normal living. In an interview with a journalist from Marie Claire, she says, "I think it might be getting a little better now, but for a while her life was expected to be everyone's life.

"Look, I don't want to be rude or anything, but I usually don't talk about Jennifer in interviews. People should stop worrying about Angelina Jolie life.

"I could talk about just how great she is doing at the moment, but then it's just an interview about her. I understand your position because her world is so public but, well, I can tell you we're both very fortunate to have each other."
