Angelina Jolie Son Maddox’s School Tells Parents: Stop Taking Pictures of Brangelina

One would think that parents at Maddox Jolie-Pitt’s new school, Lycee Francais de New York, would be upset that his famous family is disrupting their schedules. But it turns out it’s the Jolie-Pitts who are being inconvenienced, by Lycee Francais parents who can’t help but ask Brangelina for autographs.

The New York Observer reports that the Lycee’s director of operations, Dan Cooke, had to ask parents to leave Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie alone. He wrote in a letter, “Regretfully, I have seen some parents taking pictures, asking for autographs, talking to the media and even shouting at Ms. Jolie and Mr. Pitt for recognition. Therefore, in the best interests of the school and safety of your child(ren) I must ask for everyone to please respect the family’s privacy and discontinue these practices.”

Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have made concerted efforts to ensure that the chaos that surrounds them is kept to a minimum when dropping son Maddox, 5, off for classes. Cooke explains in his letter:

“I’m sure you are aware the school has received much media attention recently during the arrival and dismissal times because of the presence of celebrities Ms. Angelina Jolie and/or Mr. Brad Pitt. I want to make you aware that before the first day of school I met with their security team to discuss the best manner in which for them to drop off and pick up their son. Our foremost goal was to cause the least amount of disruption to the school and to ensure the security of all of our students and families.”

A source tells the Observer that the constant attention of the paparazzi (and eager parents) has already had an effect on adopted son Maddox. The normally happy Mad got scared and started to cry when his kindergarten class was asked to bring in a picture of themselves.

Angelina wants to adopt a baby from Burma to add to her ‘rainbow’ family

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt want to expand their “rainbow” family by adopting a child from Burma.

The couple have enlisted the help of one of the country’s leading monks to plan a trip to an orphanage.

According to an insider, Angelina, 32, has become “increasingly despondent” about the progress she is making in helping the Third World.
She is said to be desperate to offer help to troubled nations, and feels the repressive Republic of Myanmar, or Burma, is the ideal place to adopt another child – preferably, a girl.

The actress already has four children. She adopted eldest son Maddox, six, from Cambodia five years ago, prior to her relationship with Pitt. Two years ago she and Pitt, 43, adopted an Ethiopian girl, Zahara.

Earlier this year the couple adopted Pax Thien, three, from Vietnam and last year Angelina gave birth to their daughter Shiloh.
The source said: “Angelina feels she is barely making a dent in the suffering she sees throughout the Third World as she travels incognito to different countries as a United Nations representative.
“She wants to step up her action in what she calls Red Alert areas, the most seriously troubled, war-torn areas in the world.

“Angelina Jolie’s in talks to go into Burma and help with students and AIDS victims who are suffering terribly.”

The source added Angelina had been talking to a monk about a safe travel route through the military state and a visit to an orphanage.

She is said to believe adopting another girl would balance her family and a child from Burma would fit into its racial mix.

Angelina Jolie has enlisted the help of Dr Jane Aronson, an adoption specialist who runs the Worldwide Orphans Foundation.

It is understood she has acted as a mentor to the actress after helping her with the adoption of Zahara.

According to the source, Angelina’s frustration at not doing enough to help the Third World is exacerbated by her sense that she and Pitt spend too much time in Hollywood.

She is also said to have become depressed after the death of her mother, French actress Marcheline Bertrand, in January. The actress has blamed her weight plummeting to under 107 lbs. on her grief.

Angelina Jolie has spoken in the past of her desire to start a “rainbow” family of children adopted from nations all over the world.

She recently said: “Ever since I was about 12, I’ve always wanted to adopt – I don’t know why. We want to have a big, big family.”

Actress Angelina Jolie will be appearing in nothing but gold paint in her new movie 'Beowulf'.

Jolie plays the mother of Grendl, the evil monster in the film, and in one scene appears in nothing but gold paint. In the trailer, Jolie can be seen emerging from a lake completely naked but covered in a golden sheen, contactmusic.com reported. The movie also has Ray Winstone and Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Jolie had taken a break from acting after the birth of her baby but now has begun filming a new action role and is eager to get back to work.

She said: 'It seemed like a good thing for me - and my family agreed - to have a reason to get strong and do something that was not serious.'
